Consequence
THE VENTED TRANSMISSION FLUID CAN CATCH FIRE IF EXPOSEDTO A SOURCE OF IGNITION.
Remedy
INSTALL A LONGER TRANSMISSION VENT HOSE ROUTED TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT OF THE VEHICLE.

THERE MAY BE FATIGUE FRACTURES OF THE TIE ROD THROUGH THE DAMPER STUD MOUNTING HOLE.
Consequence
TIE ROD FRACTURES RESULT IN LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL ANDTHE POSSIBILITY OF A VEHICLE CRASH.
Remedy
REPLACE THE EXISTING TIE ROD ASSEMBLY, DAMPER, AND DAMPER BRACKET WITH NEWLY DESIGNED PARTS.
