Defect

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MOTORCYCLES. THE DRAIN BOLT FOR THE TRANSMISSION OIL CAN COME LOOSE DURING OPERATION ALLOWING OIL TO FLOW OUT FROM THE DRAIN HOLE ONTO THE PAVEMENT.

Consequence

THIS COULD CAUSE THE REAR TIRE TO SLIP, WHICH COULD LEAD TO A CRASH AND RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL TIGHTEN THE DRAIN BOLT.
