Defect

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2017 Brave, 2019 Itasca Sunova, 2019-2022 Adventurer, and 2022 Sunstar motorhomes. The front turn signals may have a smaller than required luminous lens area. As such these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety…

Consequence

A small lens can make it difficult for other drivers to see the turn signal, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will replace the turn signals, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 8, 2026. Owners may contact Winnebago Customer Care at 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 203.

Defect

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2014-2018 Sightseer, Itasca Sunova, 2016-2025 Forza, Vista, and Itasca/Winnebago Sunstar, 2015-2025 Adventurer, 2015-2024 Commercial Vehicle, 2015-2028 Itasca Suncruiser, and 2016-2017 Itasca Solei recreational vehicles. Consequence

A detached hood bracket may become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will inspect and repair as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters began being mailed January 31, 2025. Owners may contact Winnebago at 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 192.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM 19V811000 2019-11-13 638 affected
Defect

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2017-2020 Itasca Vista, Sunstar, and Adventurer 35F motorhomes. An electrical connector was mounted directly on the floor instead of to a standoff backet as intended.

Consequence

If the floor gets wet where the electrical connection is mounted, there is an increased risk of an electrical short and fire.

Remedy

Winnebago will notify owners, and dealers will correctly mount the electrical connector onto a metal standoff bracket, free of charge. The recall began December 10, 2019. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 160.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM 18V546000 2018-08-17 6,700 affected
Defect

Winnebago Industries, Inc (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2016-2019 Winnebago Era, Travato, Fuse, View, Trend, Aspect, Paseo, Via, Adventurer, Journey, Tour, and Grand Tour motorhomes. These vehicles have an auxiliary solar charging port circuit that is not fused.

Consequence

If solar panels are connected and they exceed the amperage capacity of the circuit, the unprotected circuit can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy

Winnebago will notify owners, and dealers will install an inline 15 amp fuse into the auxiliary solar charging port circuit, free of charge. “The latch and hinge for the engine inspection door on the front of the vehicle fell off. The assembly was glued on the body and the glue/adhesive failed and the assembly fell off and lost. This has been reports before on similar winnebago units and it certainly represents a safety issue.”
