Defect
ON CERTAIN MOTORCYCLES, THE THREADS ON THE REAR BRAKE LINE PRESSURE SWITCH MOUNT COULD BE DEFECTIVE CAUSING THE POTENTIAL FOR A BRAKE FLUID LEAK AT THE BRAKE LIGHT PRESSURE SWITCH JOINT.
Consequence
LEAKING BRAKE FLUID COULD CAUSE A LOSS OF REAR BRAKING CAPABILITY, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
Remedy
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE REAR BRAKE LINES. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN APRIL 25, 2003. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT VICTORY AT 1-763-417-8650.
