VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: LIGHT DUTY PICKUP TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH DUNLOP TIRES, SIZE LT215/85R16. THESE TIRES ARE EXPERIENCING DEFLATION AS A RESULT OF STRESS SPLITS OR CRACKS OCCURRING FROM THE POINT OF ATTACHMENT OF THE SIDEWALL TO THE SQUARE BEAD WIRE BUNDLE, WITH RESULTING DAMAGE TO THE TIRE PLY.
Consequence
TIRE DEFLATION COULD OCCUR IN LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
Remedy
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THESE TIRES.
