ON CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES EQUIPPED WITH DEXTER AXLES, ON CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES EQUIPPED WITH DEXTER AXLES, THE DISC BRAKE CALIPER MOUNTING BOLTS MAY STRIP. INSUFFICIENT CLAMP LOAD BETWEEN CALIPER AND YOKE CAN CAUSE THE CALIPER TO DISASSEMBLE AND ADVERSELY AFFECT THE TRAILERS BRAKING SYSTEM. INSUFFICIENT CLAMP LOAD…
Consequence
LOSS OF BRAKING CAN INCREASE THE RISK OF A CRASH.
Remedy
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE CALIPER MOUNTING HARDWARE FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON MAY 1, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT TRAVEL SUPREME AT 866-808-9032.
