“My front seat belts in my car no longer retract. They won't tighten up against me and probably wouldn't hold me too well if I was in an accident. The car is a 94 mitsubishi 3000gt vr-4. *jb”

SEAT BELTS:FRONT:RETRACTOR · reported 2007-11-04

“Front seat belts do not retract after the seat is returned from the forward position. Also, they do not retract if too much slack is pulled when buckling the belt. The slack has to be fed back into the tensioner to make the seatbelt fit tight in order to be effective during a crash. *ak”

SEAT BELTS:FRONT:RETRACTOR · reported 2007-06-14

“Seat belt comes out but doesn't retract to become tight on the driver. Then, doesn't retract back to get out of the way, it goes across the driver in a sloppy loose manner. *ak”
