Defect

IF THE FRONT WHEELS ARE TURNED TO FULL LOCK, THE WHEEL COULD CONTACT THE BRAKE HOSE AND DAMAGE THE HOSE.

Consequence

IF THE BRAKE HOSE IS DAMAGED, LOSS OF BRAKE FLUID IN THE FRONT BRAKE CIRCUIT CAN OCCUR WHICH COULD RESULT IN LONGER THAN EXPECTED STOPPING DISTANCES AND CAN RESULT IN A CRASH.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE FRONT BRAKE HOSE ASSEMBLY AND INSTALL A RETAINING BRACKET ON THE FRONT BRAKE HOSES.
