Defect

ON THE INVOLVED VEHICLES, THE BOLTS WHICH SECURE THE INTERMEDIATE (CENTER) STEERING COLUMN SHAFT TO THE UNIVERSAL JOINT YOKES MAY LOOSEN AND WEAR. FAILURE OF THE BOLTS COULD CAUSE SUDDEN SEPARATION OF THE STEERING SHAFT.

Remedy

DEALER WILL REPLACE OR MODIFY THE CENTER STEERING SHAFT AND REPLACE THE YOKE BOLTS, WITHOUT CHARGE.
