Defect
CRACKS MAY DEVELOP IN THE WELDS THAT JOIN THE POWER STEERING UNIT MOUNTING BRACKET TO THE BUS FRONT END FRAMING. EVENTUALLY, THE WELDS MAY FAIL, CAUSING THE STEERING UNIT TO SEPARATE FROM THE FRONT END FRAME.
Remedy
UPON INSPECTION, DEFECTIVE WELDS WILL BE REMOVED AND A STRONGER WELD APPLIED, IF NECESSARY.
