Defect

Altec industries, Inc. is recalling certain 2014-2026 AT Series Aerial Device vehicles. The transmission park interlock may be missing, allowing the aerial device to operate while the chassis is not in park.

Consequence

An aerial device that operates while the vehicle is in gear or neutral can cause unexpected vehicle movement and increase the risk of injury.

Remedy

Altec will update the electrical harness and control modules, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 7, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3331.

Consequence

Hydraulic functions that do not immediately stop when the ground level E-stop is pressed, increase the risk of injury.

Remedy

Altec will inspect the units and test to verify the E-stop function. If the wiring is found to be incorrect, it will be updated, free of charge. Defect

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2019-2024 AT Series vehicles. The lower emergency stop may not function when the upper control is selected.

Consequence

An emergency stop that does not shut off the unit during an emergency increases the risk of death or serious injury.

Remedy

Altec will correct the wiring between the power distribution module and the machine harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed January 16, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3265.

The Power Distribution Module (PDM 10) circuit may experience a voltage spike, which can damage the Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) and disrupt chassis…

Consequence

A damaged TCCM and disrupted chassis functions can result in a loss of handling and control or brake performance, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Altec will install a diode to the ignition hot circuit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 8, 2025. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3229.

Defect

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2024 AT200A aerial trucks. Inadequate clearance between the hydraulic hoses and the engine exhaust manifold may result in the hoses overheating.

Consequence

Hydraulic hoses that overheat can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy

Altec will install a remedy kit to secure the hose routing farther away from the exhaust manifold, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 22, 2024. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3189.

FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL 24V644000 2024-08-29 623 affected
Defect

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2024 AT and TA series aerial devices, and ST series spray bodies. The fuel or brake lines may not be properly secured, which can cause the lines to become damaged and leak.

Consequence

A brake fluid leak can cause brake failure, increasing the risk of a crash. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy

Altec will provide owners with instructions to inspect the brake and fuel lines. If improperly secured, Altec will provide a kit to secure the lines.
