Defect

Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2025-2026 AM Series Aerial Device vehicles. The emergency stop switch located at the turntable is inoperative when the upper controls interlock is active and allows the upper and lower controls to remain powered when the emergency stop is depressed.

Consequence

An inoperative emergency stop switch increases the risk of injury.

Remedy

Altec will notify owners to inspect for the presence of an adapter harness. If installed, the owner will be instructed to notify Altec, and no further action is needed.
