NHTSA Recall 22V076000
Filed by Thor Motor Coach. Component: Structure. Reported 2022-02-10. An estimated 148 vehicles are affected. Recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer.
Defect
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2022 ACE, Freedom Traveler, Hurricane, and Windsport motorhomes. The rear ladder may have been installed on the wrong side of the motorhome.
Risk
An incorrectly installed ladder may break while in use, increasing the risk of injury.
What the manufacturer will do
Dealers will inspect the location of the rear ladder, and reinforce or relocate the ladder as needed, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 24, 2022. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000255.
