ON CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES BUILT ON FORD CHASSIS, THE FASTENERS HOLDING THE FUEL TANK MOUNTING STRAPS MAY NOT HAVE BEEN PROPERLY TIGHTENED, ALLOWING THE POSSIBILITY FOR THE FUEL TANK TO LOOSEN AND FALL.
Consequence
IF THE FUEL TANK FALLS, THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR THE TANK TO IGNITE, RESULTING IN PERSONAL INJURY, VEHICLE AND PROPERTY DAMAGE.
Remedy
DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND PROPERLY TIGHTEN THE FASTENERS TO THE FUEL TANK STRAPS. THE RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 15, 2005. OWNERS MAY CONTACT WINNEBAGO AT 614-585-6939.
