Defect

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Era, View and Navion recreational vehicles. The retractable awning may extend unintentionally during transit.

Consequence

An awning extending unintentionally during transit may become a distraction or road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will install a parking brake interlock module, and update the awning firmware, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 2, 2024.
