CERTAIN RECREATIONAL TRAILERS DO NOT CONFORM TO THE LIGHTING REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108, 'LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT.' AMBER INTERMEDIATE SIDE MARKER LAMPS AND REFLEX REFLECTORS IN VEHICLES LONGER THAN 30' IN OVERALL LENGTH WERE MISSING. ALSO THE ABSENCE…

Consequence

WITHOUT THIS LIGHTING, AND PARTICULARLY, DURING NIGHT DRIVING CONDITIONS OR WHILE THE TRAILER IS PARKED, OTHER VEHICLES MAY NOT SEE A TRAILER, THEREBY INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy

WEEKEND WARRIOR OR AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WILL ADD THE MISSING EQUIPMENT TO ENHANCE VISIBILITY. THE RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING FEBRUARY 2007. OWNERS MAY CONTACT WEEKEND WARRIOR AT 1-800-500-9914.
