THE SAFETY BELT WEBBING GUIDE (B-PILLAR "D" RING) CAN BREAK UNDER HEAVY LOADS.

Consequence

THIS CONDITION CAN REDUCE THE RESTRAINING CAPABILITIES OF THE SAFETY BELT IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REINFORCE THE METAL PLATE WHICH IS PART OF THE WEBBING GUIDE ("D" RING) IN THE UPPER SAFETY BELT ANCHORAGE FOR BOTH FRONT SEATING POSITIONS.
