THE THREADED INSERT WHICH ATTACHES THE SAFETY BELT CATCH TO THE FRONT SEAT WAS INCORRECTLY MANUFACTURED.

Consequence

THIS CONDITION CAN REDUCE RESTRAINING CAPABILITY OFTHE SAFETY BELT IN SEVERE COLLISIONS.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE THREADED INSERT IN THE AFFECTED FRONT SEATS.

Defect

SOME OF THE JACKS SUPPLIED WITH THE VEHICLES DO NOT HAVE THE NECESSARY LOAD CAPACITY.

Consequence

A RAISED VEHICLE CAN FALL OFF THE JACK INCREASING THE LIKELIHOOD FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND REPLACE SUSPECT JACKS WITH A JACK MEETING THE LOAD REQUIREMENTS FOR THESE CARS.
