Consequence

THE PASSENGER CAN BE INJURED OR FALL FROM THE MOTORCYCLE SHOULD THIS OCCUR.

Remedy

VICTORY WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE AFFECTED SEATS FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON SEPTEMBER 15, 2011. OWNERS MAY CONTACT VICTORY CONSUMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT BY CALLING 1-888-704-5290.

“Electrical power to engine cuts out. Gauges drop to zero and headlight extinguishes. Turn signals continue to operate. Engine re-starts immediately and continues until a re-occurrence happens which become more frequent as this continues. Happens every ride. *tr”

“Came out of garage and pulled the clutch to engage 1st and the cable broke at the handle area. I have checked on multiple victory motorcycle forums and too many riders have had their cables break on them. This could be a safety issue if it were to happen on the highway during rush hour. *tr”
