Shyft Group is recalling certain 2021 Utilimaster Velocity vehicles. The Tire and Loading Information placard incorrectly states a seating capacity of one, although the actual seating capacity is two. Consequence

Incorrect seating capacity information may cause the vehicle to be overloaded, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will install new placards, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 17, 2021. Owners may contact Shyft Group customer service at 1-800-582-3454. Shyft Group's number for this recall is 21-16.
