Ride The Ducks International LLC (RTDI) is recalling certain 1996-2014 Stretch Amphibious and Truck Amphibious passenger vehicles. These vehicles are equipped with 'Captain's Chair'-style driver's seats and non-retractable lap belt seat belt assemblies. The seats, seat belt assemblies and seat belt anchorage systems…

Consequence

If the driver seat, seat belt assemblies, or seat belt anchorages fail to restrain the driver in the event of a crash, it can increase the risk of injury.

Remedy

RTDI will notify owners, and dealers will replace the driver's seats and seat belt assembly, free of charge. The recall began on April 20, 2017. Owners may contact RTDI customer service at 1-417-266-7600.

Defect

Ride The Ducks International LLC (RTDI) is recalling certain 1996-2014 Stretch Amphibious Passenger and Truck Amphibious Passenger vehicles. The instrument cluster does not illuminate the associated symbol when the vehicles' turn signals or high beam lights are in use, instead only a solid color is lit. …

Consequence

If the instrument panel does not illuminate correct telltale displays for the turn signals or high beam headlights, the vehicle operator may not recognize that the systems are been activated, potentially increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

RTDI will notify owners, and dealers will replace the instrument panel telltales and controls, free of charge. The recall began on April 20, 2017. Owners may contact RTDI customer service at 1-417-266-7600.
