Defect

REV Ambulance Group Orlando, Inc. (REVO) is recalling certain 2019-2024 Type I and Type IX emergency vehicles equipped with outriggers. The outrigger bolts may not be properly tightened, which can cause the module box to detach, or cause failure of the outrigger.

Consequence

A detached module box or outrigger failure increases the risk of injury.

Remedy

Dealers will inspect and tighten, or replace the outrigger bolts as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 8, 2024. Owners may contact REVO customer service at 1-855-661-9232.

REV Ambulance Group Orlando, Inc. (REV) is recalling certain 2019-2024 Type I, Type III, and Type IX vehicles equipped with certain Weldon Vmux HC1.7 Input/Output multiplex nodes. Consequence

Overloaded electrical circuits can overheat, increasing the risk of fire.

Remedy

Dealers will update the firmware, free of charge. Owner notification letters were May 17, 2024. Owners may contact REV customer service at 1-855-661-9232.

(REV) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Type I and IX vehicles equipped with Weldon V-Mux Vista IV LCD displays used for controlling emergency vehicle lighting and HVAC functions. Consequence

A locked up or non-functional LCD display can delay emergency efforts, which can increase the risk of injury.

Remedy

REV has notified owners, and Weldon, a division of Akron Brass will provide a replacement display, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on May 5, 2021. Owners may contact REV customer servicer at 1-855-661-9232.
