Defect
Prevost Car (US) Inc. (Prevost) is recalling certain 2026 H3-45 and H3-45 VIP vehicles equipped with aftermarket exterior driver side mirrors. The mirror exhibits excessive play and may detach.
Consequence
A detached mirror can reduce the driver's visibility and become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Prevost will inspect and replace the mirror as necessary, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk were mailed by March 10, 2026.
