Defect
MV Agusta USA, LLC (MV Agusta) is recalling certain 2018 MV Agusta Brutale 800 Dragster RC, F3 800RC, and F3 800 motorcycles. These vehicles are equipped with a fork axle carrier that may have damaged threads which can cause excessive play of the wheel clamping screw.
Consequence
Wheel clamping screws that experience excessive play can cause a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
MV Agusta will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the threaded holes in the fork axle carriers, and if necessary replace the fork leg, free of charge.
