Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. (Kawasaki) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Z125 PRO & PRO KRT Edition motorcycles, models BR125JHF and BR125JJF. The Electronic Control Unit (ECU) may have an improper setting for the fuel injection, allowing the engine to stall.
Consequence
An engine stall can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Kawasaki will notify owners, and dealers will replace the ECU, free of charge. The recall began on December 21, 2017. Owners may contact Kawasaki customer service at 1-866-802-9381.
