What owners report
Verbatim reports filed with NHTSA, lightly edited for readability and with personal information removed.
“While in transit, driver received a call from the gsa van following him that one of the rear tires started smoking. The driver pulled over and checked the tire and saw smoke from underneath the bus. He grabbed a fire extinguisher but within a matter of minutes, the bus was engulfed in flames. *dt*jb”
“A coolant hose burst near the drivers foot, this causes the windshield to fog immediately, hot antifreeze gets on drivers leg and pours down floor of school bus. We have 14 of these vehicles and currently have had 4 or 5 do this so far. We have only had problem on 2014 busses.”
