Consequence

If the damper rod nut loosens, shock absorber performance would be affected, possibly causing a loss of vehicle control and increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Honda will notify owners, and dealers will remove the shock assembly and send it to the supplier's service center for repair. Once repaired, the supplier's service center will ship the shock assembly back to the dealer and the dealership will reinstall the shock on the motorcycle. This work will be performed free of…
