Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Momentum and 2022-2024 Solitude Fifth Wheel trailers. The U-bolt may become loose due to inadequate preload and preload losses, causing the axle to move out of position.
Consequence
An axle that moves out of position can cause a loss of vehicle control and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy

Consequence
A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace quick disconnect as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 6, 2024. Consequence
Underrated chains can allow the trailer to detach from the tow vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
