Defect

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2026 Westbrook and Avenger travel trailers. The Federal Placard label may list an incorrect dry weight. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, “Tire Selection and Rims.�

Consequence

Incorrect weight information may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will replace the label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 17, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-260-499-2100. Forest River's number for this recall is 452-2045.

Defect

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2026 Westbrook and Tracer recreational trailers. The liquid propane (LP) gas hose may be incorrectly routed and rub against the furnace, causing a fuel leak.

Consequence

A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy

Dealers will replace and reroute the the LP gas hose, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 21, 2025. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 574-862-1025. Forest River's number for this recall is 48-1954.
