Consequence

An air conditioner soft start device that overheats increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy

Dealers will replace the soft start, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 1, 2025. Defect

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2019-2024 Georgetown and FR3 Class A motorhomes. The liquid petroleum gas (LPG) tank mounting brackets may break, which can result in the LPG tank becoming dislodged and damaged.

Consequence

A damaged LPG tank increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy

Dealers will inspect and replace the brackets and welds as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 11, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-206-7600. Forest River's number for this recall is 68-1736.

“When parked and level at a campsite the windshield cracked from the bottom up. You can not feel the crack on the inside or outside of the glass and nothing hit it. The rv had been parked and leveled in the same exact spot for 9 days, when we woke up on day 10 the crack was there.”
