Defect

E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Cyclone 2, Typhoon N, 2021- 2024 Cyclone N, and 2021 Quest 2 vehicles. The engine crossmember may break, allowing the cooling fan to contact the fan shroud and become damaged.

Consequence

A damaged cooling fan can result in an engine stall while driving and increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will inspect and repair the crossmember as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 26, 2024. Owners may contact E-One Customer Service at 1-352-237-1122.

Defect

E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Cyclone 2, 2022-2024 Cyclone N, and Typhoon N vehicles. The engine crossmember may break, allowing the cooling fan to contact the fan shroud and become damaged.

Consequence

Defect

E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2024 Cyclone N and Typhoon N vehicles equipped with an independent front suspension assembly. The lower control arm retention bolts could become brittle and break after being tightened.

Consequence

A broken bolt head can become a projectile, increasing the risk of an injury.

Remedy

Dealers will replace the bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 6, 2024. Owners may contact E-One customer service at 1-352-237-1122.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM 24V194000 2024-03-12 22 affected
Defect

E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2024 Commercial, Cyclone N, Typhoon N, and Typhoon EV vehicles equipped with Hercules HC 1.7 multiplex nodes. In the event of a short circuit or wiring failure, the firmware in the node may fail to shut off the output pin, resulting in overloaded electrical circuits.

Consequence

Overloaded electrical circuits can overheat, increasing the risk of fire.

Remedy

Weldon will update the firmware, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 5, 2024. Owners may contact E-One customer service at 1-352-237-1122.
