EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY 26V406000 2026-06-26 38 affected
Defect

Diamond Coach Corporation (Diamond Coach) is recalling certain 2025-2026 VIP motorcoaches equipped with certain QRT-360 wheelchair retractors. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

Consequence

An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy

Dealers will replace retractors, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 25, 2026. Owners may contact Diamond customer service at 1-800-442-4645.

Defect

Diamond Coach Corporation (Diamond Coach) is recalling certain 2025 VIP buses equipped with QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

Consequence

An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy

Diamond Coach will work with Q'Straint to inspect and replace the retractor as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 6, 2026. Owners may contact Diamond Coach at 1-800-442-4645.
