A vehicle that does not emit sound may fail to alert pedestrians of a moving vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Dealers will provide an acoustic vehicle alerting system remedy kit, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 15, 2026.
