THE ANGLE OF THE REAR COMBINATION LAMP IS NOT WITHIN THE PROPER SPECIFICATIONS FOR FMVSS NO. 108, "LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT."
Consequence
CONSEQUENCE OF NON-COMPLIANCE: THE REAR COMBINATION LAMPS HAVE DIMINISHED VISIBILITY AND DO NOT GIVE SUFFICIENT WARNING SIGNALS TO FOLLOWING MOTORISTS.
Remedy
DEALERS WILL INSTALL A BEZEL WHICH WILL BRING THE ANGLE OF THE LAMP WITHIN FMVSS SPECIFICATIONS.
