Defect

NUT ATTACHING STEERING WHEEL MAY HAVE BEEN INSUFFICIENTLY TIGHTENED AND A NUT RETAINER MAY BE MISSING.

Consequence

STEERING WHEEL COULD DISENGAGE FROM COLUMN WHICH COULD RESULT IN LOSS OF CONTROL AND AN ACCIDENT.

Remedy

REINSTALL STEERING WHEEL NUT AND RETAINER AND RE-TORQUE NUT.
