NHTSA Recall 25V189000
Filed by Temsa. Component: Equipment. Reported 2025-04-17. An estimated 11 vehicles are affected. Recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer.
Defect
Temsa is recalling certain 2024-2025 TS45 transit buses. The Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) listed on the certification label is incorrect. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other Than Passenger Cars."
Risk
An incorrect weight rating may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
What the manufacturer will do
Temsa service centers will replace the certification label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 27, 2025. Owners may contact Temsa customer service at 1-833-628-3672.
