NHTSA Recall 24V261000

Defect
Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2022-2023 DC (Legend) dump trucks. The upper hoist cylinder mounting pin may fail.
Risk
A pin failure can allow the hoist to fall, increasing the risk of injury. In addition, the hoist cylinder can disconnect from the vehicle, becoming a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash.
What the manufacturer will do
Dealers will inspect, repair, or replace the pin as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 24, 2026. Owners may contact Autocar customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Autocar's number for this recall is DC-2403.
