Filed by Eldorado National-Kansas. Component: Fuel System, Gasoline. Reported 2016-06-16. An estimated 285 vehicles are affected. Recall repairs are free at any authorized dealer.

Defect

Eldorado National-Kansas (Eldorado) is recalling certain model year 2012-2016 Amerivan 10 vehicles manufactured November 30, 2012, to May 20, 2016. Due to an improperly installed fuel line separator, the fuel line may rub against the engine cradle and cause a fuel leak.

Risk

A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may result in a fire.

What the manufacturer will do

Eldorado will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the fuel line, and rework fuel line routing, free of charge. The recall began on September 7, 2016. Owners may contact Eldorado customer service at 1-913-392-2171.
